About Me
Hello! I'm Dr. Bethany, and I'm honored to share my passion for naturopathic medicine with you. As a licensed naturopathic doctor (ND), I've received comprehensive training as a primary care physician, with additional expertise in reproductive health including fertility awareness method, pelvic floor therapy, and two years of clinical mentorship under the guidance of Dr. Haylee Nye, ND.
My journey into reproductive health began early in my medical school career when I learned about tracking my own menstrual cycle. This empowering experience ignited a desire to help other women understand their bodies and hormonal changes. Through my personal health journey and the care of my patients, I've come to realize that optimal reproductive health lies in emphasizing the foundations of a healthy lifestyle, including stress management, sleep, nutrition, and digestion.
My practice philosophy centers on enabling patients to understand the "why" behind their symptoms, and together, we work as a team to uncover the root cause of any imbalances.
My clinical specialization lies in menstrual disorders, fertility, and postpartum support. Both personally and professionally, I've witnessed the profound impact of natural medicine in fostering healthy pregnancies and babies. As a mother of two myself, I understand the need for comprehensive postpartum and lactation support that extends well beyond the conventional 6-week postpartum period.
I'm particularly passionate about supporting:
Preconception and fertility journeys
Postpartum care and lactation support
Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS)
Menstrual disorders, including PMS, PMDD, and irregular cycles
Endocrine imbalances, such as Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, blood sugar issues, and adrenal health
Cycle tracking and body literacy education for adolescents and adults
On a personal note, I am a momma to a vibrant daughter and a sweet baby boy. When I'm not in the clinic, I cherish moments with family, care for my houseplant collection, and experiment with natural skincare products.
I'm dedicated to guiding you on your journey towards better health and understanding your body, and I'm thrilled to be your partner in this transformative process. Together, we'll work towards restoring balance and achieving overall wellness.
